Easy-Open Paper Can with Metal Pull-Tab Lid
Idehpack's easy-open paper can is a cylindrical cardboard can with a 1 mm paperboard body, a metal bottom and a metal easy-open lid: the consumer pulls the tab and the can opens — no can opener needed. It is produced in 73, 83 and 99 mm diameters with custom height and your own printed label, from a minimum order of 1,000 cans, for ground coffee, herbal tea, export spices and saffron, sports supplements and baby food.

You fill it, you seal it
After filling, the easy-open lid is seamed onto the can with a can-seaming machine. Three types are available on the market: automatic, semi-automatic and pedal-operated. If you do not have one yet, Idehpack can supply the machine as well — ask our team which model fits your output.
Easy-open vs. press-fit and screw lids
A pull-tab end opens by hand in one motion. A metal press-fit lid is pressed on and off, and a screw-cap can is twisted open. For brands, the easy-open end means a faster, tool-free first opening and a more professional look on the shelf.

What is the minimum order?

Do I need special equipment?
Yes, a can-seaming machine to close the lid after filling. Idehpack can also supply it.
What is the inner lining?

Does the consumer need a can opener?
No. The lid opens by pulling the metal tab.
