FAQ
What is a screw-cap cardboard can?
A single-tube cylindrical can with a 1 mm cardboard body and a metal base, closed by a two-piece plastic or crystal screw lid (ring and cap).
How does it differ from a metal screw-cap can?
The body is a 1 mm cardboard tube, the base is metal and the lid is plastic or crystal. The main differences are low-volume ordering (from 1,000 units, and fewer through the online shop) and label printing with finishes such as cellophane lamination, raised UV, gold foil and silver foil. For liquid products this can is used only as secondary packaging; for packing liquids directly, Idehpack recommends the Idehcap jar lid.
Is the lid damaged by repeated opening and closing?
No. The lid is not damaged by repeated opening and closing.
Which printing finishes are available?
All printing services are available, including cellophane lamination, raised UV, gold foil and silver foil; the logo can also be embossed on the lid.
How is the can sealed?
With an induction seal or shrink wrap; the inner lining is metallized or white.
Which diameter is available?
Currently 83 mm only, with height made to order.
What is the minimum order?
1,000 units and 1,000 printed sheets. Orders under 1,000 units are handled through the Idehpack online shop.
