Seaming machine parts
Base
All components of the machine are mounted on the base. The base has no welded parts; all parts are CNC-machined or laser-cut and bolted to the base, which makes replacing and servicing parts very simple. The design is precise, and all parts are adjustable and accessible to the operator.
Electric motor
The electric motor drives the machine. A single-phase or three-phase motor can be used, according to the customer's order.
Head
One advantage of this machine is seaming different can diameters by changing the head. One head is fitted to the customer's order, and heads for other diameters can be made if needed. Making the head to match the lid or base is very precise work and requires design and manufacture matched to that part.
Rollers
A seaming machine needs at least two rollers: the first-stage roller curls the edge of the lid or base, and the second-stage roller completes the pressing. Rollers are made with different profiles and play a very important role in seaming quality; their material and cut strongly affect the result.
